PRODUCT INFORMATION
What is Retatrutide?
A single investigational molecule acting on three receptor pathways.
The molecule
Retatrutide, also known as LY3437943, was developed by Eli Lilly. It is studied as a GIP, GLP-1 and glucagon receptor agonist. As of the latest cited Lilly update in July 2026, it remains investigational and is not approved by any regulatory agency.
Three signals, different roles
GLP-1 signalling is involved in appetite, satiety and glucose-dependent insulin release. GIP contributes to glucose-dependent insulin signalling. Glucagon has roles in glucose regulation and energy expenditure. This mechanism distinguishes Retatrutide from dual GIP/GLP-1 compounds and single GLP-1 agonists; it does not translate into a simple ‘three times stronger’ claim.
What studies have measured
Clinical trials study changes in body weight, metabolic measures and safety under defined eligibility criteria and monitoring. The TRIUMPH-4 figures shown on the product page are a comparison between trial arms in one study, not a head-to-head comparison with other medicines. They do not validate the effectiveness of this retail pen.
Safety is part of the evidence
Reported trial adverse events include nausea, diarrhoea, constipation and vomiting. These effects and other risks matter alongside the weight results. Investigational status means that a retail product description cannot establish an approved indication, safe personal dose or guaranteed result.
How to read this product’s documentation
The pen is labelled 32 mg and supplied pre-filled with compatible needles. The linked original report identifies a tested sample and batch. Analytical purity is one measurement, distinct from clinical evidence, regulatory approval or confirmation that every supplied item has the same batch.
CERTIFICATE OF ANALYSIS
HPLC purity 98.75% · batch RET3254
The original report records the identity and HPLC purity of the tested sample. Check the supplied pen’s batch against this document. A batch report does not, on its own, establish clinical safety or every aspect of finished-product quality.
